Dear community, a lot has changed since I was born in the 1980s. Like every generation, I’ve experienced several technological milestones. These include the proliferation of computers in private households, universal internet access, the revolution brought about by MP3 file format, the introduction of 3D graphics cards for attractive computer games, and much more.
When I follow current technology news, most of it revolves around AI. This topic has been a hot topic since 2022.
But I’ve also noticed a few other technical topics that will become important in the next 10 years. I’m writing them down here for our future selves. This makes it easier to look back over the years and compare what has actually happened. Below is my current list:
