From time to time, I write articles for other platforms and publications. In the past, this has resulted in German-language contributions for Heise, Golem, and iX magazine. Now, Espresso Tutorials, a learning platform renowned for its SAP expertise, has joined the list; I have published a German-language article there on the subject of unit tests.
Choosing the topic for the first article was easy for me. I have already written a great deal about unit tests on my own blog. I remain convinced that unit tests can significantly improve the quality of software development. It is surprising that, even in 2026, one still frequently encounters development work in the ABAP environment that lacks unit tests.
There is one small downside to the article: it is behind a paywall and is therefore classified as paid content. However, those who already have access to Espresso Tutorials, whether personally or as a company, can read my article via this link. Enjoy!
