    Comments are a part of ABAP. As with all the possibilities of a programming language, you can basically do everything wrong with them, even if you mean well. We all experience countless examples every day. It works differently too.

    Dummy, fake, stub, mock, spy, shim, shiv – so many terms that can easily be confused or that everyone needs to know in order to talk about them together. That’s too complicated for me. Hence my simplification.

    Many database tables have field identifiers consisting of 5 characters and are often an abbreviation for a German term. How can this be made more informative?
