ABAPConf 2025

Reading time:

1–2 minutes

Dear community, how time flies. ABAPConf 2025 (June 4th and 5th) is just around the corner, and I’ll be attending in person in Mannheim. In recent years, I’ve participated with presentations, both alone and with other participants. This year, I’m just attending as a listener.

For me, ABAPConf in Mannheim begins on the evening of June 3rd with a pre-event called “ABAPConf Community Day.” Participation in the pre-event is possible without registration. This is the perfect opportunity for networking with everyone arriving on June 3rd. There will also be a presentation with tips on S/4HANA migration. This will still be a relevant topic for many SAP customers in 2025.

I’m particularly looking forward to the presentations by Frank Engert and Björn Schulz on June 4th and 5th.

Frank and his colleagues from Softway AG have built an exciting product on the topic of e-invoicing on SAP BTP and he’s sharing his experiences there. Did I mention that I love presentations from real development projects?

Björn will be reporting on “Extension Components” (XCO), which, with their numerous modules, offer helpful added value, such as access to the Business Application Log in the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

All presentations will be streamed live from Mannheim and can be followed online for free (Channel 1). Similar to the Mannheim event, there will be on-site meetings in Vienna and Hamburg. From there, all presentations will also be streamed live via Channels 2 and 3. Of course, there are also recordings of all presentations, so you can watch them afterwards (I’m really looking forward to Jelena Perfiljeva’s presentation on EWM).

The presentations will be complemented by workshops, which will take place at SAP in Dresden.

So, it promises to be a great time on-site. I’m looking forward to it and would like to thank all the organizers and speakers in advance for their work.

See you

Michael
